WordPress is the blog platform of choice for search engine optimisation experts.
It’s free, totally customisable and has a mind boggling variety of themes and plugins available to download.
As an SEO I always recommend it as a blogging platform. It can also be used to create sites for customers that require a simple content management system (CMS).
This site is of course built using WordPress.
Below is an example of a blog that I installed on a client site. I skinned it to match the main site design.
Originally I did in fact integrate WordPress with the existing osCommerce template as in this tutorial but unfortunately the SEO plugins stopped working so I had to separate the installation. As yet I have not found a solution to this issue.
