The Senior SEO Executive is a key role focused on driving the SEO strategy for the Direct Business of Phones 4u. Set across two major mobile phone brands; the work will be diverse and highly rewarding.
Working closely with the SEO Technical Lead and key internal stakeholders, the Senior SEO Executive will implement and refine both on and off page optimisation techniques to ensure improved search engine rankings and increased relevant targeted traffic to the brand websites.
The Senior SEO Executive will be expected to assist with training and mentoring of junior team members by sharing their extensive knowledge of innovative, white hat, SEO methods.
Key Responsibilities
Recommend appropriate front and back end improvements to Phones 4u and Dialaphone websites to ensure maximum SEO potential is achieved.
- Perform regular reviews of Phones 4u and Dialaphone’s link landscape in comparison with competitors.
- Create scalable link building campaigns using innovative inbound marketing techniques.
- Work closely with content, PPC, PR and social media departments to create holistic search campaigns.
- Exploit strong networking and negotiation skills to develop relationships with 3rd party websites
- Evangalise the benefits and importance of SEO to other departments within the business.
- Assist with management and training of junior members of the team in both on and off page SEO.
- Report and measure on campaigns and their performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Aptitude required
- Minimum 2 years relevant SEO experience (agency or in-house)
- Detailed technical knowledge of SEO and some coding skills
- Extensive knowledge of current ranking factors and inbound marketing techniques
- Excellent communication skills with good written and spoken English
- Experience of working on an e-commerce website in a competitive vertical
- Hands on experience of a wide range of link building techniques with proven results
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong team working and mentoring skills
- Passion for innovation
