Apart from designing whole websites I have spent many years creating advertising banners and buttons for online display advertising and html email campaigns.
It’s imperative that for banners, file sizes are small to assist with the quick loading of web pages. Adobe Fireworks is my usual weapon of choice.
In addition to this I have created several interactive elements for the FrenchEntreé website:

Mouse over ‘targets’ to reveal pop up image. Click on target to navigate to agents site.
Explore France – Virtual tour map
Click on regions of France to reveal clickable local information and photos.
France Flight Map – UK to France flight routes
Click on an airport to reveal destinations. Pop up box includes clickable links to airport and airline websites.
